A Claude Code skill that changes the lighting of still images—adjusting direction, color temperature, intensity, and mood—via the RunComfy CLI, routing to Qwen Edit 2509's dedicated relight LoRA and identity-preserving edit endpoints.

Overview

Relight is a Claude Code skill that changes the lighting of still images via the RunComfy CLI. It adjusts lighting direction, color temperature, intensity, and mood without requiring a reshoot. The skill routes to Qwen Edit 2509's dedicated relight LoRA endpoint for purpose-built relighting with precise control, and falls back to identity-preserving edit endpoints (Nano Banana 2 Edit, GPT Image 2 Edit, FLUX Kontext Pro) when prose lighting language is sufficient for the edit.

Key Features

  • Dedicated relighting endpoint - Qwen Edit 2509 Relight LoRA (the default) is specifically tuned for changing lighting direction, color temperature, intensity, and mood while preserving subject identity, pose, and framing.
  • Prose-driven lighting changes - Nano Banana 2 Edit and other identity-preserving edit endpoints handle lighting changes described in natural language when relighting is part of a broader edit pass.
  • Product and portrait relighting - Convert studio softbox lighting to window light, shift portrait mood from overcast to golden hour, adjust color grade, or add rim lighting, all from text prompts.
  • Multiple model fallbacks - When the dedicated relight LoRA does not fit the use case, the skill routes to GPT Image 2 Edit or FLUX Kontext Pro for instruction-driven lighting edits.

Who is this for?

  • Product photographers and e-commerce teams who need to relight product shots for different contexts (studio to lifestyle, warm to cool) without reshooting
  • Portrait photographers adjusting lighting mood and direction in post-production via text descriptions
  • Developers building automated image processing pipelines that need lighting adjustment as a scriptable, CLI-accessible step
